Our Mission

Gaming knowledge shouldn’t be buried behind SEO fluff or locked in Discord servers only twenty people know about. Our mission is to give every gamer a public place to share what they know, connect with others, and get credit for it. Whether you’ve cleared every FromSoftware title or you just found a trick in a game from 2003 — your knowledge belongs somewhere people can actually find it.

Who Built This

FreeRangeGamers was created by Joshua Miller — a lifelong gamer tired of landing on SEO-stuffed sites that bury the actual answer in 2,000 words of filler. The goal was simple: build the site he always wished existed, then open it up to everyone who felt the same way.

The platform is independently run and funded through non-intrusive advertising. No investors, no data brokers, no hidden agendas — just a passion project that grew into a real community.

FreeRangeGamers was built with the assistance of Claude Sonnet (Anthropic) as an AI development partner. We believe in being upfront about how this platform was made. Every design decision, every policy, and every feature reflects the values of the person behind it.
