Map Overview

Stella is a mid-sized Arc Raiders map set around an abandoned coastal settlement and industrial port complex. Unlike The Dam's vertical hierarchy, Stella is largely flat with distinct horizontal zones — a dense urban core, a working waterfront, and scattered outskirts buildings.

This layout makes Stella more approachable for newer players. There's no single dominant danger zone you have to cross to loot effectively. The tradeoff: good loot is spread across multiple buildings rather than concentrated in one obvious location, so efficient routing matters more here than raw combat ability.

The mix of close-quarters urban combat and open waterfront sightlines also makes Stella one of the more player-encounter-heavy maps, particularly around the port structures.

💡 Tip

Stella is a map where information beats firepower. Knowing which buildings have already been looted, where the Arc patrols are clustered, and which exits are clean is worth more than an extra weapon. Move carefully and observe before committing.

Key Landmarks

The Towncentre — Dense cluster of multi-floor buildings in the middle of the map. High foot traffic from both Arc and other Raiders. Contains the best mix of general loot — ammo, consumables, components — across multiple buildings. Also the most likely place to encounter other players.

The Port / Waterfront — Long industrial stretch along the water's edge. Warehouses with excellent crafting materials and high-tier containers. Arc Soldiers patrol the open dock areas aggressively. Heavy units occasionally spawn inside the larger warehouses. High risk, high reward.

The Silos — A cluster of large cylindrical storage structures on the northern edge. Moderate Arc activity, good component loot. The height of the silos provides sightlines over much of the northern approach — useful for scouting movement.

Residential Outskirts — Scattered housing on the map's southern edge. Low Arc density, low-to-mid loot quality. Good staging area to resupply or hold before pushing the Towncentre or Port.

The Processing Facility — Mid-map industrial building between the Towncentre and Port. Contains workbench access for field crafting and reliable material loot. Arc presence inside is moderate — Crawlers and a Soldier patrol.

Recommended Loot Routes

Low-risk route (safe extraction focus):

Residential Outskirts → Processing Facility (outer loot only) → Silos (lower levels) → Extract via southern or eastern exits

Avoids the densest Arc zones and most player-contested areas. Consistent but modest yield.

Mid-risk route (balanced):

Processing Facility → Towncentre (two or three buildings) → Silos → Extract

Good balance of loot quality and survivability. The Towncentre is the wild card — clear it methodically and avoid lingering in open streets.

High-risk route (Port focus):

Outskirts staging → Port warehouses (primary loot targets) → Towncentre clearance → Extract via waterfront or northern exits

Best materials yield on the map. The Port's open dock areas are dangerous and the warehouses have Heavy Arc inside. Requires strong combat kit and situational awareness about other players pushing the same warehouses.

💡 Tip

Clear buildings top-down. In Stella's multi-floor Towncentre buildings, always enter at ground level, clear up, and loot on your way back down. Looting on the upper floors while Arc is entering below you is a common way to get trapped.

Arc Activity on Stella

Stella's Arc patterns differ from The Dam's in one key way: activity is more distributed. Rather than one heavy concentration, you'll encounter Arc in smaller but frequent groups across the whole map.

  • Crawlers in the Outskirts — Loose roaming packs. Easy to handle individually but can chain into large encounters if you're not cleaning them quietly.
  • Soldiers at the Port docks — Patrol the open waterfront areas. Dangerous in the open — use cargo containers and dock structures for cover.
  • Mixed Arc in the Towncentre streets — A rotating mix of Crawlers and Soldiers. The tight building geometry benefits you for close-range engagements; use it.
  • Heavies in the Port Warehouses — At least one per warehouse. Know your exit before triggering them.
  • Flyers over the Silos — Scout the northern area. Neutralise or avoid before crossing the open ground around the storage structures.

Extract Points

Stella has several extraction zones spread across the map:

  • Southern residential extract — Lowest Arc activity, easiest to hold. Long walk from the Port but safe from most player conflict.
  • Eastern road extract — Mid-map, near the Processing Facility. Convenient for players working the Towncentre or mid-map loot route. Moderate player traffic.
  • Northern waterfront extract — Close to the Port warehouses, making it the natural exit for high-value Port runs. Also the most contested — other players pushing the Port will target this exit too. Have a fallback ready.

Note: The northern waterfront extract is the most efficient exit from a Port run but watch for player ambushes. Other Raiders know you'll be heavy with loot coming out of the Port.

💡 Tip

Use the Processing Facility as a checkpoint. It sits between most loot zones and the southern/eastern extracts. It has workbench access and is defensible. If you're damaged or overloaded mid-run, retreating here to consolidate and decide on extract is smart map use.

Loadout Recommendations for Stella

Weapons: Stella rewards flexibility. An SMG handles the close-quarters Towncentre fights well; a rifle works better for the open Port docks. A versatile assault rifle that works at both ranges is the safest single pick if you don't want to juggle two primaries.

Armour: Medium armour. Stella's variety of combat ranges and terrain makes heavy armour a liability for the movement-heavy urban sections.

Consumables: Bring a suppressor attachment or at least plan quiet approaches through the Towncentre — sustained gunfire draws more Arc quickly in the dense building cluster. Two healing items, one throwable for creating distractions in warehouses.

Backpack: Large pack if you're pushing the Port. Medium if you're doing a Towncentre/Silos run. The Port loot is bulky enough that a small pack will leave valuable materials behind.
